In-Service assessment

General information about the In-Service assessment can be found here.
There are no eligibility criteria for the In-Service Assessment.
Candidates who have completed the assessment receive a certificate of participation by email.
The results are published in our examination management system Examfolio. Three weeks after the assessment candidates receive an email (info@examfolio.com) with a link to the Examfolio website.
The results are available online. There is no option to download or print the results when logged in at Examfolio.

Part 1 Written exam

General information about the Part 1 Written exam can be found here.
Candidates who meet one of the following criteria are considered eligible: - Final-year resident from a EBU member country completing urology training before 31 October of next year.
- Certified urologist holding a certificate of accreditation in urology.
Candidates who compeleted the exam receive a proof of participation by email.
The results are available in our examination management system Examfolio. Candidates who completed the examination will receive an email from Examfolio (info@examfolio.com) to view the results online.
The results are available online. There is no option to print or download your results when logged in at Examfolio.
Access to the Pearson VUE test centre can only be guaranteed when the registration details match the names stated in your passport/ID. No refund will be given in case your access has been denied for this reason.

Part 2 Oral exam

General information about the FEBU Part 2 Oral Exam can be found here.
The timeframe between the Part 1 Written Exam and the Part 2 Oral Exam may not exceed 5 years. A candidate who meets one of these criteria is considered eligible:
- Final-year resident from an EBU member country.
- Certified urologist holding a certificate of accreditation in urology issued in an EBU member country.
A candidate who completed the examination will receive a confirmation of participation by email.
Successful candidates receive the FEBU diploma.
You can only change your examination language before you receive a confirmation of participation.

Certification

We offer two kinds of certifications:
1. Certification Residency Training Programme in Urology.
2. Certification EUSP Host Centre.

- Certification Residency Training Programme in Urology: 1 March and 1 September.
- Certification EUSP Host Centre: No application deadline.

EBU membership

  • Being part the only European regulatory body representing urology.
  • Participation in bi-annual board meetings.
  • Active contribution to activities organised by the EBU.
  • A urologist trained/certified in an EBU member country is eligible to take the FEBU exams.
The national association applies by sending us a letter motivating the request for EBU membership.

Each country nominates maximum 2 delegates. To become an EBU delegate, contact your national society.
